Teen REACH sites provides structural activities for at-risk youth between the ages of 6-14 during non-school hours. There are three different teen REACH sites:
  • Columbia

Freedom School Summer Program
Built around the concept of Freedom Schools of 1964,  the Urban League of Champaign County in partnership with the Children's Defense Fund will host its third summer freedom school.  The mission is to encourage and motivate African-American and Latino children to develop a love and enjoyment for reading and to encourage activism among college-age youth from the local community.
