Through Parkland College trained literacy volunteers help adults improve basic reading, writing, math, and English language skills. They work one-on-one with adult students and also assist teachers in Adult Basic Education, High School Equivalency, English as a Second Language, Transition to College, Family Education, and Workplace Education programs.
