Silent Auction Rules (Must Read Before Bidding)
PURCHASE NOW BEFORE THE GALA EXTRAVAGANZA 2005 ... The online silent auction will be open for bidding from Tuesday, November 8th to Wednesday, November 16th. After Noon on November 16th, NO additional bids will be accepted. To place a bid, click on the link immediately following the auction items at the bottom of this page. Each bid will be sent to Laurie Bonnett, Director of Fund Development, via email. Within that email, please indicate which item(s) you would like to bid on, along with your NAME, PHONE NUMBER AND/OR EMAIL ADDRESS, and the amount(s) you would like to bid for the item. You may place bids for multiple items.
ALL BIDS MUST BE IN INCREMENTS OF $5.00. The closing bid constitutes the winner. Only an authorized person may nullify a bid. The decision shall be FINAL. The winner will be notified via email or telephone on Wednesday, November 16th by 5pm. The successful bidder must arrange payment by cash or check with the Urban League of Champaign County no later than November 17, 2005 at 5:00pm. After 5:00pm the winning bidder forfeits the right to claim the item(s). Items not claimed will be auctioned off at the Gala, Friday, November 18th. All sales are FINAL. There will be NO exchanges or refunds. Checks should be made payable to: Urban League of Champaign County.
Unless otherwise specified, all auction items and services must be used within one year. The Urban Leauge of Champaign County is not responsible for delayed or lost emails. It is the bidder's responsibilty to keep track of the last bid.
